Camp Batel: Daughter of God

I was up at girls camp all last week as the YCL Leader. Our stake and about 8 other stakes purchased this land for girls camp. They named it Camp Batel, which stands for "Daughter of God" in Hebrew. It was so beautiful and I had a great time despite the fact I started getting sick on the first night (Monday). By Thursday night I was pretty much done and they sent me home. I got a cold which turned into a sinus infection. I was really sad to miss the last night there, but I'm glad that I was able to go at all. I loved getting to know some of the girls and to feel the spirit that was there. We have some amazing young girls in our stake who will be great leaders of the church someday. The last day I was there, I had some free time. So, I ventured around the camp sites and shot some nature pictures. I am normally a people picture taker, but it was fun to try something different. I was happy to get home to my kiddos. This is the first time I've been away from them over night since Drake was born! I missed them like crazy, but they had a great time hanging out with Grandma Sue and Dad!
