Ava's Dance Recital.

Ava had her first dance recital the beginning of December. It was adorable watching her up their on that big stage. She did great and was so excited to get flowers afterwards.

A bit of November...

It was a miracle we actually snapped a family photo this year. I realized I have no pictures from Thanksgiving and I am so bummed, because that was the last holiday we spent with Lance. The month of November flew by and I can hardly believe it's January. My little sister Erin and cute Cannon came out for a visit from Tennessee the week before Thanksgiving. We were so excited to have company and spend a few days together!

I've been putting this post off. What can I even say? As many of you know Brandon's brother Lance passed away almost 1 month ago. Here are some images from his funeral. The comforter was strong. Beautiful words were spoken and Lance was laid to rest until we meet again. How do people survive something like this without the knowledge of the gospel. I am so grateful to know that death isn't the end! It brings peace and builds faith. Thank you many times for your prayers, love, and support. That has brought strength to our family at this time.

Happy Birthday. To a wonderful and fierce loving mother, grandma, and friend. I have seen a strength in you that I have never seen before despite one of the hardest, heartbreaking times of your life. God is good. He is loving. He will make you strong. We are grateful for the gospel and especially for Christ whom made it possible for us to have eternal life with those we love.
