We rode the bike up to get some ice cream and drinks. I love happy hour at Sonic. Apparently Drake definitely does! Little poser. Ava didn't forget her dress-up shoes, but she has other ideas of what to use them for besides her feet. She is having a full on conversation with Papa Eddie on those babies. Hope they get really good reception cause he's clear over in "Metico" (Mexico).

P.S. It was really windy today...I swear I comb my daughters hair. Little rug rat.

More summer fun.

The last days of summer are soon creeping up on us! Here's a few of the things we've been up to while enjoying our warmer days.

Randi had her birthday and made this adorable cake.



Taya came to play for a little while last Saturday. So we broke out the sidewalk paint, chalk, and drew up a playing field for hopscotch.


Drake loves hopscotch and pretty much any and every game or sport you teach him.


Ava in all her glory. She doesn't like to keep her clothes on most of the time. Taya, is doing what she does best. She's there in the back ground wandering around picking up flowers, grass, weeds. You name it.

Aurora Reservoir
This was our first time here and I think we've found a jewel. This lake was awesome. Very clean and nice with lots of different facilities. I'm so excited. Even though summer is almost over, we have a fun new place to go for next year.

San Francisco: Tanner Family

I walked past this everyday to and from the workshop in San Fran with my headphones on and my music turned up. I loved hopping on the bus and train just listening to my playlist.

God is Good.

On our very last day of the workshop a few of the other girls and I needed to finish our last roll of film. We found this wall in the Mission District filled with colorful art. Their were so many cool things. I'll continue to post one picture a day until I get thru them.

Cherry Creek Reservoir

"Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet, and the wind longs to play with your hair."


We headed down to Cherry Creek Reservoir the other day with some friends to enjoy the beach, lake, and some wake boarding. I couldn't have been happier. I seriously could live at the lake. Really, you have no idea how serious I am right now. That would be a dream come true.

Yes, that's my little girl wake boarding with daddy! We're starting her early. Even though when asked if she liked it she says, "NO!" She looks happy in this picture, right?!



Little Levi Miller. I'm secretly keeping my eye on him for Ava. Hopefully Ava's chances weren't diminished when she threw two handfuls of sand in Levi's eyes. Poor guy!

Film is Not Dead
