The Big Day

I was able to move my eye surgery a week early. So, tomorrow is the big day. I'm so excited. It's been a long wait. This weekend I will be recovering and hopefully quickly. Wish me luck. Be back soon.

Guess who?

Haha. "Brace Face". I will no longer be "four eyes" though Feb. 6th. Yeah! Now I have a twelve year old mouth to match my twelve year chest :)

Here's to 18 months.

Where does the time go? I feel like I just bundled you up and took you home from the hospital. You were the most quiet, calm, angelic little thing. You're still little, but a lot more loud and not so calm anymore.

Here's to you.
I love your BIG round brown eyes and that sweet voice.
I love that you can't seem to get enough of me.
I love that you bat your eyes,
and scowl at people in the grocery store (thanks dad).
I love when you crinkle your nose.
I love that you are so happy.
I love your giggle.
I love your jibber jabber that usually I can only understand,
but I love that I know exactly what you want and need.
I love your hugs and kisses.
I love that you need me.
I love that you are MY daughter.
I love you Ava.

So sad.

"Mom, I don't like being sick. Will you make me feel better?" Can you say tuggin' at my heart strings.

Sneak Peek: Riewerts

I can't get over little Rachel's blue eyes. She is super cute. Enjoy!

Ashley's Surprise Party

We had a little surprise party for my friend Ashley's 26th. We had some cake and played a little rock band, and then I got to hang out ALL night with a sick little boy :( First Drake was sick, then Ava, and just as I thought we were clear, Drake gets sick AGAIN. Much worse this time. I think I slept all of 3 hours last night. Wait, this post was about Ashley not my sick kids. Hope you had an AWESOME birthday. You deserve it!

Shades.

I found some pretty sweet sunglasses for Drake the other day, so he's been wearing them around whenever we're outside or in the car. I've been meaning to go over to this tunnel Hollie told me about and where she also took some pics of Aaron and Randi last year. She's awesome. I think I might use it for my next photo shoot. I tested it out with Drake yesterday.

Then, I set them on the ground to take some pics without (my mistake) and Drake stepped on em' and broke them. Good thing they were only $2. I'll have to super glue them or something?

Sun Flare Love.

Drake and I took a little walk while Ava was home taking a nap with my mom. I'll post those pictures tomorrow! I got some really cute ones of Drake. Ava's turn is next. She's a little harder to sit still now. My busy girl. I snapped these as the sun was setting. Which one do you prefer?

Snickerdoodles.

I was having major sweet tooth, so the kids and I baked some cookies together the other night. Drake is at the age where he loves to help. So, we pulled up a chair and got our hands a little dirtier than normal. All in the name of fun :) Ava was in the mix, but she occupied herself on the counter trying to unwrap a hershey kiss. I think she eventually got frustrated and just sucked the chocolate out of the opening in the top.

Enjoying the finished project and washing it down. They still weren't as good as the snickerdoodles Erin made one night she was here. These will have to do until she visits again.

Drake

"Trains, planes, boats, and toys. There's nothing quite like little boys."

To Remember...

We were out running a few errands at good ol' Wal-Mart with my mom the other day. Drake is obsessed with trains, so when he saw one stopped he wanted to go over and see it and he is actually the one that wanted some pictures with the train. I'm so glad he did. I love them and they are so Drake. The train conductor even peeped his horn for us a few times. Did I mention he LOVES trains??

I've been meaning to get some cute pictures of Drake and Ava together to update pictures around the house. It was really cold so we did it quickly, and I think these will have to do for now.

Christmas 2008: Picture Overload...

No kidding.

The Nativity. Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning at our house.

ICE SKATING
Ava anxiously awaiting her turn out on the ice.

Little Herbie getting ready to ice skate.

Lots of wrestling matches. I think the kids are winning Uncle Herb. It was like 7 to 1 at one point.

Doug, Becky, Aidan, Ashton, and Kaelyn. Drove from Phoenix, Az.

Sage. Endured the long trek along with her family from Portland. 25 hrs. one way. Mainly because of weather. Ughh.

Erin & Kyle. Train ride one way from Provo: 14 hrs. They thought it would be an adventure. No kids. I texted Erin on their way here and asked her how it was going. Her response, "Long, sucky, and their are lots of psychos on here."

Pajama party. Every. Night.

Grandpa McClean. Made it out for a couple of days. First tried driving from SLC and had to turn around because of a blizzard. Caught a flight and stayed for Christmas day. Flew out that night and had to turn around and come back to us because of bad weather again. Finally made it home the next morning.

Kaelyn Jade. We finally had someone Ava's same age and size around.

My oldest brother Dave and his kids (my oldest nephews) Kelson and Nolan. Shouldn't you guys still be 4?

CHRISTMAS AT THE EUDIS'
Merry Christmas to you! Papa and Grandma Sue Sue surprised Taya and Drake with these on Christmas morning.

Drake and Taya testing their four wheelers outside.

Taya taking Ava for a spin on her new wheels.

Tyce and Ava. I think they are secretly planning ways to take over together when they get bigger :)
