Summer Birthday Party.

We went to a friend's birthday party the other day at the Alpine Splash Pad. Such a fun place. Was a little cooler so the kids didn't want to run around in the water. They played at the park instead.

Since I didn't get you to your 9 month check up until yesterday,
here are your stats at 10 months:

16 lbs. and 26 inches

You are turning out to be a little one like your big sis.
You shake your head yes at everything.
You are saying daddy and boo (or ba).
You absolutely hate the shower. Whenever it sprays on you, you scream and cry.
You didn't want anything to do with the doctor this time.
You kept crying when he'd touch you and then you'd push his hands away.
You love love blueberries and pretty much any big people food now.

Best little buds. They play so good together and we love that they are so close. Who would've thought after all these years Robyn and I would actually end up living in the same state let alone close enough to hang out every week.

I made a ghetto puppet show for the kids. They thought it was hilarious and it ended up being a hit.

Congrats Brandon!!

I can officially post this now that the papers are signed! Brandon received a new job with Adobe. We are really excited for it! He starts June 20 and he definitely deserves it. He has been working so hard for our family. This last year has brought us closer than ever. We've had to really rely on each other. More importantly we are just grateful. The Lord's hand has really guided us thru this time. This last year has been a complete leap of faith and it's amazing to see how it always works out somehow! Brandon, I am so proud of you! Thank you for being a wonderful husband and father. You are very loved and appreciated!

Memorial Weekend.

We had a fun memorial weekend. Longer weekends with Brandon are always awesome anyways. We had a BBQ saturday with family and another one on Monday with lots of McClean cousins. We also splurged and bought the ultimate sno cone, other wise called the "oh yeah." It was huge we couldn't even finish it!

9 months 5/15/11

I'm a little behind on this post. Callie at 9 months. You are crawling and have three teeth. You continue to bring joy into our every day life with your sweet little spirit. Every little thing you do amazes me. Your smile, your loud random squawks, the way you are mesmerized by everything around you. You have this funny crawl where you put your head down on the ground in front as you are going along. Maybe your head is too heavy sometimes. I don't know, but it cracks me up. You have this cute smile where you squint your eyes at us. You LOVE your bath, but hate to get dressed. You are getting busier and more curious everyday. You are still attached as heak to me. If I leave a room, you come crying after. You, I can't imagine our lives without. You are tender and sweet and loving. These qualities shine thru even at your young age. You are loved Callie Rose.
