Some of my favorite times with Ava are in the mornings, when we are usually the only two awake in the house. She's never woken up unhappy and I usually wake up to her giggling, cooing, or sucking away on that little thumb of hers. These aren't the greatest pictures, but it was fun trying to capture her beautiful face the other morning, even though she was squirming all over the place.
Last night as I was giving Ava her last feeding, Drake came up to sit with us and I am just so grateful for the joy they bring to my life. Drake would giggle as I'd push him over on the bed, and that would make Ava giggle as she's still trying to enjoy her last meal of the day. We sat their for the next half hour just laughing with one another. These simple times in my life are some of the most joyous, and they always remind me what's truly important and I am grateful for that always!!
