Colorado Trip...

We headed out to Colorado for our 8 year anniversary! Woo woo! Brandon surprised me with Les Miserables tickets back in July for my birthday. It was mine and Randi's first time seeing it and it was amazing! Grandma Sue came with us and held up the fort while Aaron, Randi, Brandon, and I went to the play and to Chophouse for dinner. We ended up walking to dinner from the theatre. We were on the 7th floor of the parking garage and it would have taken more than an hour to get out. Aaron was super happy ;) We had such a great weekend and the kids all had so much fun together.

Aqua Triathlon

I accomplished my first sprint triathlon this summer. I was so nervous, but it was awesome. I had so much fun and can't wait for the next one. I think the best part of it all was the accomplishment of fulfilling a goal. It was a great feeling. I finished it in 1.23.56

Drake shoots his first beebee gun. Seriously, we have the best neighbors! He's always showing Drake the fun toys he has. They have lots of grandkids and lots of toys, so they are great with Drake and Ava and our kids love them! Plus they are always bringing us yummy cookies and leftover dinners. Not to mention they are the kindest, sweetest people around. We love the Egans.




School Time
Drake has started his first year in Kindergarten! He is loving it and we love his teacher. His favorite part is recess! Who's isn't? Ava started her first year in pre-school and dance. She loves both, but especially loves going to her dance class! After a year of not having my kids in anything it's nice to get on a schedule and have some free time!

Birthday dinner...

For Brandon's 30th birthday at the beginning of this month, we headed up to the McQueen's house for his birthday dinner. I made homemade yummy pork tacos. We enjoyed family and friends, and played outside on the neighbors trampoline.
